Description

Responsibilities
    Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company's needs.
    Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.
    Ensure all purchasing activities support and strengthen the strategic objectives of the overall organization
    Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
    Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
    Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
    Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
    Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
    Inspect consignments to verify if they are in order and as per agreed terms.
    Interacting with suppliers in case of delay in delivery of supplies, receipts of damages or incorrect quantity of goods.
    Reviews and evaluates quotations. Researches, identifies and recommends potential suppliers.
    Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
    Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
    Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids.
    Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements
    Minimum 3 years work experience as a purchaser
    Excellent face-to-face and telephone conversation skills.
    Strong negotiation skills, great work ethics,self-motivated and can work under high pressure
    Good knowledge of Sage 300, and expert with MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Office and Word.
    A bachelor's degree or college is usually required; however, a combination of related supply chain training and considerable experience may be considered an equivalent.
    Fluent in English
