Description

As Senior Structural Engineer with our client, a well-established Consulting Engineering firm, your leadership and communications skills will be supported by structural engineering experience in Commercial, Institutional and Multi-family Building Projects.

As part of the firm's succession plan, within 1 to 3 years you will be offered a partnership opportunity and the Principal Structural Engineer role in their Regina, SK office.

LEADERSHIP AND GENERAL MANAGEMENT
- Serve as a strong Structural Engineering Professional and technical representative of the Regina office.  Develop co-operative working relationships.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers, technical and support staff to ensure a high level of accuracy, consistency and professionalism.
- Work closely with engineering and technical staff within the firms multi-disciplinary team.  - Provide business development and leadership skills to increase market share, build and promote the Regina office capabilities as a highly skilled Architectural firm.

PLANNING, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
- Provide structural engineering design and innovative solutions for projects located in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and BC.
- Attend client meetings and develop strong working relationships with developers, architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations and building assessments.  Prepare engineering reports and strategies for modification, repair or replacement of structures.
- Provide engineering field services.  Coordinate and monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications, budget and project schedule.

The successful candidate will demonstrate progressive leadership roles with strong interpersonal skills, commitment, engineering competence and willingness to maintain a sustainable, structural engineering practice within a multi-discipline firm.
