Description

Since the late 1960s, Medigas, a division of Praxair Canada Inc. has been a leader in serving the Canadian healthcare market with the provision of home oxygen therapy, respiratory services, medical gases and related medical equipment.

As part of our Homecare team, your duties would include providing home delivery of Oxygen and Home Medical equipment products to clients including Respiratory equipment. Additional duties are, but not limited to:

Deliveries within a defined route in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
Participation in on-call rotation to provide 24 hour, 7 day a week service to clients
8:00am to 5:00pm shift
Maintaining vehicle and drivers log
Safely loading and unloading cylinders
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Working within a high safety standard
Potential backup coverage for out of town runs
Equipment checks
New starts for clients released from the hospital

Your Qualifications!
The applicant should have a Grade 12 or equivalent diploma, 1 year experience driving with similar type vehicle, valid drivers license and 3 years excellent safety record.

Applicants are to be customer focused, patience, organized, and have the ability to set priorities and follow through on tasks.
High school graduate or equivalent experience
Be energetic and self motivating
Safety conscious and able to operate analytical equipment
Accurate and detail oriented
A team player who is able to work within tight deadlines
