Advantage Sales and Marketing is currently hiring a part-time Retail Sales Merchandiser in Saskatoon.
This position is syndicated, meaning working with a variety of clients, rather than representing just one line or brand, servicing Walmart stores.
Responsibilities may include:
Assertive selling
Managing territory accounts efficiently to call cycle and reporting results via email, voicemail, and conference calls.
Execute Weekly Program Priorities (From Preparation, to In-store execution and Handheld reporting)
Negotiate Sales - selling in call for orders, and in-line orders
Merchandising (Planograms, Resets, Returns, Orders, Fixture assembly)
Maintain strong relationships with store personnel as the client representative
Maintain client objectives by ensuring secondary placements of product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
Shelf Standards and Conditions: Authorization of items to meet client shelf schematic standards.
Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs.
Prepare for and respond to audits.
Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
Field questions and proactively develop action plans to resolve issues.
Requirements:
Retail experience
Strong organization and flexibility
Must have exclusive access to a vehicle and internet
Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer service oriented
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong initiative and self-driven, ability to work independently with little supervision.
Good basic computer, organizational and follow-up skills.
