Paramount Plantscapes Ltd. is now accepting resumes for skilled landscape labourers for the 2015 season.
Wages will be $14.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience and skills.
Duties include installation of paving stone patios, retaining walls, sod, large caliper trees, shrubs, ornate mulch, irrigation systems and water features. You will be required to do all labour necessary for these installations including but not limited to: digging, trenching, shovelling, moving material by wheelbarrow, planting and other related landscaping duties. You will also be required to lift 20-50kg.
Applicants for these positions will possess excellent problem solving skills.
Assets for these positions are:
Stone Masonry experience
Skid steer operator certificate
Mini excavator operator certificate
3A drivers licence
Experience with vibrating plow and directional boring equipment
Operators will be evaluated on their abilities by a certified evaluator.
Due to strict timelines, applicants will possess at least 2 - 3 years of experience, but exceptions may be made for the right people at a training wage scale.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license with a clean driver abstract.
They must provide their own transportation to and from sites.
Candidates for these positions will be required to work until November 30, 2015 with the possibility of joining the snow removal crew for year round work.
