Job Summary:
The Confidential Secretary is accountable for maintaining the ongoing administrative operations of Lloydminster Continuing Care facility by provision of prompt and professional assistance and work material to this area. The Confidential Secretary has access to confidential material of both residents and staff and must ensure confidentiality of this information while adhering to established policies and guidelines. This position is responsible for reception, clerical, accounting, payroll functions and assisting the Facility Manager with scheduling of staff according to collective agreements.
Experience:
Two (2) years of related experience working in an office environment.
Required Qualifications:
Office Education certificate
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Additional Text:
Office Education Certificate must be from a recognized school (general bookkeeping/accounting is essential)
