Description

Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Regional Director is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Swift Current Branch in accordance with the Councils strategic plan and established objectives.  The Regional Director ensures that all human resources, financial, communication, operational, and public relations activities of the Swift Current Branch are consistent with the Councils policies and procedures.  Duties include:
-    Plans, directs and monitors all Branch operations, programs, and services in response to regional needs.
-    Prepares annual operating plan for the Branch and submits a budget with related rationales.  Performs monthly monitoring of the budget.
-    Manages all program and administrative functions of the Swift Current Branch and coordinates all activities to increase efficiency and ensure the successful operation of the Swift Current Branch.
-    Promotes and maintains productive relationships with other senior management staff members, community representatives, consumer groups, business contacts, government departments, and other organizations.
-    Represents the Council in the community and assists with fund raising events.
-    Hires, supervises, and monitors Branch staff members.

Qualifications:
-    A relevant undergraduate degree and a minimum of seven years related experience, most recently in a senior management position.
-    Experience in budget and personnel management
-    Ability to initiate and maintain strong long-term relationships.
-    Ability to resolve conflicts and encourage collaborative relationships.
