Description

Canada Golden Fortune Potash Corp., a Saskatchewan potash exploration, development and mining  corporation, is seeking a junior geologist.

Major  Duties:
-Assist to plan, direct and participate in geological field studies, drilling and geological testing programs
-Assist to plan, direct and participate in the analysis of geological, geochemical and geophysical survey data, well logs and other test results, maps, notes and cross sections
-Assist to plan, direct and participate in the analysis of core samples, drill cuttings and rock samples to identify chemical, mineral, and to assess depositional environments and geological age
-Assess the size, orientation and composition of mineral ore bodies
- Recommend the acquisition of lands, exploration and mapping programs and mine development
-Conduct geological and geophysical studies for the development of potash projects
-Identify and anticipate natural risks such as slope erosion, landslides, soil instability, subsidence
-Co-ordinate well drilling, completion and work-overs and mining activities

Qualifications:
-Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin would be preferred) writing and speaking
-University degree in geology
-At least one year experience in potash or related mining industry in Western Canada
-Must be registered in Saskatchewan as a geologist
-Proficiency with Canadian industry standard software
-Work both independently and closely with colleagues depending on the situation
-Perform all duties with hard work, dedication, and attention to details
