Responsibilities:

    Safety is a priority at Jays and this position works with over 450 employees towards our goal of continuous improvement
    Assists Director of Safety and Senior Management with all areas of Safety and Compliance administration
    Assist in the administration of files for insurance for all auto and cargo
    Obtain certifications to allow you to provide training and some travel may be required
    Respond to possible infractions, accidents and time loss statistics or incidents
    Maintain driver files and Carrier profile updates
    Assist with Driver Hours of Service (logs)
    HR Administrator for benefits and job postings, etc.
    Assist in processing payroll using ADP


Qualifications:

    Understanding of compliance transportation requirements as related to the trucking industry would be an asset
    Understand and apply principles and methods of Occupational Health and Safety
    Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
    Assets include two years of related experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
    Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
    Excellent computer skills  Word, Excel, Access
