Reporting to the CSO Manager in one of our Region 3 locations, this position is responsible for the following:
Assist agrologists in the delivery of field research projects that relate to adjusting procedures.
Assist adjusters in the completion of customer inspections, including identifying crop disease, insect damage.
Complete field inspections and detailed plant counts, ensuring inspection documents are completely neatly and accurately.
The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through enrollment in a post-secondary Agriculture program. The successful candidate must be returning to school in the fall.
Demonstrates integrity with a focus on service excellence and innovation.
Knowledge of agriculture and current farming practices and crops.
Customer focused; strong interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong mathematical skills.
Computer knowledge, specifically with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The successful candidate must present a work ethic supporting our corporate values and Saskatchewan agriculture, must provide an acceptable criminal record check and should the successful candidate participate in the Crop Insurance or AgriStability Programs, their account must be in good standing. This position may require extensive travel; a valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the province is required. In addition, the successful candidate must be in good physical condition with the ability to walk long distances and climb ladders and bins.
