The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp  Rocanville, located in Southeast Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Surface Electrical Supervisors, the Electrical Engineering Technologist is responsible for CAD support for both the Electrical department and the Electrical Engineering department (AutoCAD).  This individual will work with the Electrical Engineering department on the designing and installation of new projects, and will also assist the Electrical department with technical problems and troubleshooting.

The successful applicant will be a highly-motivated individual with a Grade 12 diploma supplemented with an Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma.  One to three years of related experience or equivalent education/experience in a mining or construction setting is necessary.  Experience with PLC, Cisco Networking, and Industrial Controls would be an asset.  Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
