Description

The Society for the Involvement of Good Neighbours (SIGN) Early Learning Centre is currently looking for a temporary child care assistant (Present to end of August).

The successful applicant will be assisting with the children's activities, supervising, interacting with the children and helping with the daily cleaning of the centre.  Other duties may be assigned by the director.

Requirements:
Student must be enrolled at the time of employment at a secondary or post-secondary school or institution, and returning to full time studies after the period of employment.  Full time studies at a post-secondary institution are considered a minimum of three classes.

Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check, and TB test results must be submitted prior to first day of work.  Current First Aid/CPR "C" (or willing to obtain).

Applicants must be:

Willing to work as part of a team
Able to problem solve
Able to assist and implement activities
Able to work with children aged 18 months to 6 years of age

Experience:  Preferred but employer is willing to train the right candidate.
