Description

Our family is looking for a caring, responsible and experienced live-out nanny to care for our two daughters, aged 6 & 9. Overall we are looking for a loving, dynamic individual who will be able to provide the kids with a balanced day while providing household support to the family through various household duties (cleaning, cooking, laundry). The ideal candidate will be a positive role model to our girls and provide a nurturing, warm/loving, safe environment. We are a non-smoking household.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Working full time, Mon-Fri, with potential for occasional evenings as required
- Preparing and sending the girls off to school
- Welcoming the girls home from school and ensuring homework is completed every day
- Driving the girls to and from activities as required
- Preparing nutritious meals for the family
- Providing active and stimulating activities for the children including outdoor play, play dates, crafts, reading, etc. when at home from school and during the summer months
- Perform household duties including laundry, cleaning, cooking, tidying up
- Support us in teaching our children to be loving, respectful, polite individuals through consistent discipline

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in nannying or child care, a driver's license, current certificate in first aid/CPR, and a clean criminal record check. Training in early childhood development is considered an asset. Ability to provide references is a must.
