JOURNEYPERSON PLUMBER
Muskoday First Nation is currently seeking the services of a Full-Time Journeyperson Plumber. The Plumber will report to the Public Works Manager and the respective Housing portfolio Councilor. The Plumber will work as a team member within the Housing & Public Works team.
Duties are as follows, but are not limited to:
Install, repair and maintain plumbing and furnace systems and components;
Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls;
Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping and controls;
Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets;
Install, repair and maintain water heaters and conditioners;
Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim;
Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials;
Maintain all building codes, installation requirements and relevant legislation;
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Apprentice or Journeyperson Certificate is required;
Must have or be willing to obtain gas licensing;
Must have minimum 2 years of plumbing experience;
Must be willing to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends;
Must have effective communication skills;
Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle;
Salary will commence with Competitive Journeyperson Plumber wages
