About the Opportunity
FCI Accelerated Solutions Inc (FCIAS) has a challenging opportunity for a SQL Database Administrator to join their Regina team. We offer both full time and contract opportunities.
The SQL Database Administrators must have a degree or certificate in Computer Science or a related field. Certifications in Microsoft SQL and/or Database Management is desired.
Experience in the following areas are necessary:
5 years experience in SQL server management including SQL mirroring or clusters;
Experience using monitoring software at the database level is preferred;
Experience with database concepts and operational support;
Experience supporting COT solutions at an application support level or development level would be an asset;
Experience and ability to multi-task and troubleshoot issues.
This is a senior level position with on-call and overtime requirements.
