Description

Knowledgable in all areas of Information Technology and willing to be on hot standby for any and all issues related to IT.

Able to establish, operate, maintain, and co-ordinate the use of LAN and WANs, mainframe networks, hardware, software, related computer equipment, set up and maintain internet and intranet web sites and web-server, monitor and optimize network connectivity and performance.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment

Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications

Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to co-ordinate access and use of computer networks

Continuing development of a local database site that will be managing, update, and maintain training, operational, safety and maintenance systems.

Server management including: 1 VMware 5.0 host machine with 2 Windows Server 2008 VMs, 2 Ubuntu Server VMs. Cloud based Office 365 server, 1 VOIP phone server system, CCTV server system, security card access server system.

Control and monitor e-mail use, Web navigation, and installed software

Other shop related tasks as needed

The successful candidate will:

Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration, Web technology or a related field is required.  Completion of comprehensive Management Information Systems program preferred.

Have experience with physical network such as cat5e terminations, in wall renovations, and cable pulling.

Be able to manage services such as: DC, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Windows Deployment Services, WSUS, Linux LAMP stack, SQL Server 2012, Exchange Server 2013, Office 365 and more.
