Description

A growing Saskatchewan company seeks a talented Steel Detailer Project Coordinator and Estimator to join their Regina office.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
    Collect information from all available sources in order to prepare accurate and complete drawings and incorporate architects changes
    Ensure completion of detailing requirements outlined within each project's scope as specified
    Initiate and preparing RFI's (Request For Information) and follow-up as needed  
    Recommend improvement opportunities in the use of detailing technology and work methods.
    Assist in the training and further development of Junior and Intermediate level Detailers
    Additional outside training as required in order to supplement technology advancement.
    Coordinate with our foreign office*

Requirements
    Bachelors degree or 2-year technical degree preferred.
    MUST have a minimum of 10 years experience detailing steels structures and connections using computer-assisted drafting software including but not limited to: AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
    Thorough knowledge and skill to exercise judgment of applicable standards and procedures
    High level of verbal and written communication skills.
    Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a team environment.
    Outstanding organization and multi-tasking skills.
    Manage, supervise and direct the work of modelers.
