Reporting to the Team Manager, Systems Development, this position is responsible for analyzing, designing, testing and coding programs within systems.
The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through the completion of a diploma or degree in computer science with a minimum of two years experience in computer programming and systems analysis in a business environment.
Knowledge and experience in Business Analysis, database structure, data integrity and data modelling.
Innovative thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to trouble shoot and analyze systems and coding issues.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrates accountability with strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks while dealing with shifting priorities.
Preference will be given to those with direct experience in web development in Java, C# or Microsoft software (CRM, BizTalk or SharePoint).
The successful candidate must present a work ethic supporting our corporate values and Saskatchewan agriculture, must provide an acceptable criminal record check and should the successful candidate participate in the Crop Insurance or AgriStability Programs, their account must be in good standing. In addition, the successful candidate must possess a valid drivers license and willingness to travel throughout the province when necessary.
