Description

Family looking to hire a live in caregiver, for an elderly woman; living in her own home.

Location:
Private residence located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Located in an urban area, on the East side of city, in the Holliston neighborhood (one block off of 8th St. & Louise St.)

Accommodation will be provided at no charge on a live in basis.

Job Duties:
-Care giving for 77 year old woman in good physical condition, who has Alzheimer's disease.
-Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
-Housekeeping and cleaning duties
-Prepare nutritious meals and administer daily medication
-Perform help with persons daily routine, personal care, hair care, and dressing.
-Aid client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
-Launder clothing and household linens.
-Accompany person to social programs and outings.
-Assume full responsibility for household in absence of other family members.

Terms of Employment:
-Salary $15.00 per hour, 40 hours per week.
-Permanent position, minimum 24 months.

Experience Required:
-Minimum one year, full-time, paid, related work experience.

Credentials:
-Grade 12 education required
-Criminal record check required
