Location: Melfort Branch
  
Job Purpose

This position is responsible for fostering relationship building; performing a variety of duties by providing advice, direct sales, and ongoing service to members and potential members, with a variety of deposit related products and services.  This position also resolves more complex problems with member accounts and relieves for other staff as required. Makes referrals for more complex wealth management needs to an Investment Specialist or Financial Planner and is also responsible to provide referrals to other credit union specialists.

Working Conditions

This position is expected to operate within a regional service delivery model which may require travel between locations.  Other duties may be assigned outside the above job purpose provided the duties are associated with another position at the same or lower pay grade.

Minimum Qualifications

- Academic minimum of Grade XII or equivalent
- Technical knowledge of and/or experience with financial services, including operational workflow and the products and services available at Affinity Credit Union. Typically gained through one year in the financial industry.
- Knowledge of the following investment accounts and products: TFSAs, RRSPs, RIFs, Term Deposits and GICs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic computer functions in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet sales and cross selling goals or measurable position targets.
