Description

As a technical focused Business Analyst, the successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with eBusiness Suite (eBS) developers, eBS configurators, business stakeholders, and system users to refine and understand development work requests, triage and troubleshoot support issues, capture and update system processes, develop and maintain SDLC best practices, update existing documentation, and execute testing.

The successful candidate will be familiar with Oracle development (SQL, PL/SQL) and have experience supporting one or more of the following eBS modules: General Ledgers, Payables, Projects, Project Costing, Project Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Cost Management Fixed Assets or Enterprise Asset Management.

A degree/diploma in systems analysis or application development, plus 5 years experience is required. Applicants with less experience may be considered for a Junior Business Analyst position. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Experience in the following areas will be considered an asset:
    Experience as an Oracle eBS developer, configurator, or administrator
    Experience with Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL
    Functional Knowledge of eBS in order to facilitate both basic troubleshooting of issues that arise and to test changes to eBS to ensure requirements are met prior to turning over changes to the business client
    Understanding of Oracle eBS best practices for development and configuration
    Experience as an analyst gathering requirements, mapping business processes, creation of use cases and test cases
    Experience within a QA and testing role
    Experience with Oracle AIM methodology and documentation
