Summary
The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming/outgoing shipments. Load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment.
Job Duties
Prepare receiving dock to accept incoming product.
Prepare materials for shipment.
Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders.
Operate a forklift in a safe manner to move product.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Lifting/carrying of product according to documented procedures. Must be able to lift weights up to 80+ lbs.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Forklift certification preferred.
Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Working Conditions
Manual dexterity required to lift and handle objects.
Overtime as required.
Lifting or moving up to 80 lbs on a repetitive basis required.
This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes and oils.
