The Department of Civil and Geological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in municipal/environmental engineering at the Assistant Professor level.

The successful applicant will establish a strong research program through externally sponsored research (e.g., by government agencies and industry). The successful candidate is also expected to teach undergraduate and graduate engineering courses.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering field.  Candidates must also have a PhD in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering field and must demonstrate the ability to develop a strong municipal/environmental engineering research program focused on water and/or wastewater treatment, wastewater collection systems and municipal water distribution. The successful candidate will be a P.Eng. in Canada or will be eligible to become a P.Eng. in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.

The appointment will commence July 1, 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter. Review of applications will begin immediately, and will continue until a suitable candidate is found. Salary bands for this post are as follows: Assistant Professor - $90,796 - $109,108; Associate Professor - $109,108 - $127,420 and Professor - $127,420 - $148,784. Relocation assistance is available for applicants from outside of Saskatchewan.
