First Nations Child Developmental Centre is looking for an energetic, responsible and highly motivated part time Executive Director to carry out the following:
Objective:
-Maintain philosophy of the Centre ensuring compliance with The Child Care Act and The Child Care Regulations.
-Develop and implement procedures meeting goals and objectives of the Centre.
-To provide key information to the Board to assist them in their decisions and policy making function.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Administration
-Accurate record keeping, administer purchasing, basic financial recording
-Research and procure additional funding sources
-Maintain policies, licensing, and enrollment for Centre.
Human Resources (not limited to):
-Manage staff through; recruiting, scheduling, maintaining ratios, performance reviews, and disciplinary action.
-Provide new client and staff orientation, parent and staff communications, and staff training.
-Keep updated on regulatory bodies; Labour Standards, OH&S, Workers Compensation.
Program/Child Development (not limited to):
-ensure safety and wellbeing of children and staff, develop program plans, observe programming needs.
-implement inclusive programs and environment to meet child needs
-nutrition development
Also:
-Family Support
-Professional and Community Involvement
-Board Relations
And any other duties that may be required by the FNCDC Parent Board. There is a possibility of moving to ful time.
