Caring family of five seeking energetic live-in/out caregiver for three
children ages 5,8,10. We are a very loving and easy going family that will welcome you into our home!! Typically work from Monday to Friday with flexible hours between 8 am and 6 pm. Approximately 35 - 40 hours per week. Duties will include caring for the safety of our three children, meals, light housekeeping.
Essential Skills
- Writing
- Oral communication
- Job task planning and organizing
Children'S Ages
- School age (6 - 12 years)
- Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)
Transportation/Travel Information
- Willing to travel
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Specific Skills
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Supervise and care for children
- Read to children
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Help children with homework
