Description:

To participate as an effective member of the Rubber Paving and Concrete Curbing Installers of Solid State Renovations Ltd. On the job training will be provided with good wage. This work is physically demanding seasonal job, but a potential candidate who performed exceptional work during the season will be extended to work in the oilfield in the winter season. Duties will include performing a range of tasks necessary for the installation of rubber and curbing.

Follow Solid States Guiding Principle
Participate in Solid States safety program
Preparing job site (unpack, sort, organize tools, equipment setup and cleaning)
Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed

Requirements:

Ability to maintain security and viability of the company
Understand and perform safe working practices to ensure a safe working environment
Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Ability to listen to others, communicate effectively and respond positively to feedback on job performance
Ability to explain basic technical procedures to others
Strong hand and eye coordination
Ability to maintain concentration, problem solving and accurately perform repetitive job tasks
Ability to lift up to 45kg (100 lbs) on a frequent basis during critical work periods
Ability to work with allergenic material (including, but not limited to, rubber, cement, binder, disposable gloves)
Ability to work outdoors with allergens and warm temperatures
Ability to work longer hours, weekends, and holidays
Must be willing to travel around Southwest Saskatchewan (hotel will be provided if staying for days or longer in Swift Current)
