Description:
The Flooring Team Member provides exceptional assistance and service to RONA customers with their flooring product needs. This position is also responsible for maintaining department standards to ensure we meet customers needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide all customers with exceptional customer service through the use of RONAs values and customer service programs
Assist with the daily upkeep of the department by down stocking, cleaning, price labeling, & other assigned duties
Prepare paperwork and follow procedures to prepare special orders for customers
Participate in store merchandising activities such as building and resetting product displays
Participate in regular development and training, including computer assisted training
Answer telephone calls and assist telephone customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in customer service focused roles
Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative and demonstrate flexibility
Ability to perform work duties that include bending, stretching, lifting and carrying medium to heavy products
