Role
Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, and based in Saskatoon, the Logistics Co-ordinator is accountable for co-ordinating dealer shipments; work with Project Managers to arrange transportation of products; manage firm timelines and collaborate closely with other departments across Canada.

  
Tasks/Responsibilities
    Schedule and arrange shipments
    Align product delivery with corporate construction schedule
    Plan and manage sales orders in the ERP System
    Provide freight quotes for Corporate and Dealer products
    Prepare a weekly project schedule report
    Prepare weekly trailer load sheet for preferred carrier
    Track shipments to ensure prompt and accurate delivery
    Verify freight charges on invoices

Competencies/Skills
    Time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
    Excellent inter-personal skills
    Effective communication skills (includes writing, oral and listening)
    Attentiveness to details and accuracy
    Resourcefulness
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Proficiency in using MS Office programs

Education/Experience
    Knowledge of logistics within the building industry
    At least 2 years experience with steel-framed, fabric covered buildings is an asset.
