Description

Muskeg Lake Cree Nation is looking for a dynamic individual to exercise their communication skills. Responsible for creating, producing, and announcing topics over the radio, including entertaining programs, political commentary, news, interviews, weather, and other matters of interest.

Responsibilities

Produce, write, and narrate programs on the radio.
Operate Equipment.
Play Music and Commercials
Answer phone calls.
Represent station at industry and community functions and events.
Determine news and Community announcements & information appropriate for broadcast.
Prepare newscasts and deliver them on-air.
Give weather and traffic conditions.

Requirements:
High School Diploma (Previous broadcasting experience preferred).
First Nation language considered an asset.
Must have good communication skills both written and oral.
Applicant must have a Social Insurance Number.
ALL MLCN Position MUST have a Security and Safety- Criminal Record Check
