We are currently accepting resumes for a Tape Edger in our mattress factory. This position is physically demanding and you will be required to lift, bend & stand for extended periods of time. On the job training is provided and cross training is required in order to meet production demand cycles. Both men & women are encouraged to apply.
Job Duties:
Responsible for assembling product properly per order specifications, meeting production goals/schedules for the day and ensuring the highest level of quality. You will be working with an industrial tape edge machine and hand tools to make finish the final product (mattresses). Any prior experience in a mattress manufacturing setting is a plus.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience in mattress building or similar manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
-Physically fit & able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
-Able to lift, bend & stand for extended periods of time
-Communication skills including the ability to read, write & speak English
-Able to work with power & hand tools
-Good eye-hand coordination
-Able to take direction and perform tasks within specified time frames in a fast paced environment
-Team Player
-Excellent attendance & punctuality
-Ability to work overtime as production demands require
Compensation:
$14 per hour to start or commensurate with experience if candidate has prior tape edging experience.
Extended Health Benefits Package upon completion of 3 month wait period(Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx, Life Insurance, LTD, AD&D)
Hours of Work:
Monday Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Overtime may be required as production demands
