Description

Eagle's Nest Youth Ranch, a non-profit charitable organization providing treatment services to youth in group home settings, is seeking a Junior Accountant to work under the direction of our Controller.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Using AccPac software to:
    Process biweekly payroll by tracking timesheets, verifying pay amounts, hours of work, deductions, etc.
    Process accounts receivables
    Prepare journal entries
    Process and prepare tax documents
Maintaining proper accounting records of all financial transactions
Assisting with year-end procedures and audit preparation
Assisting with the audit
Establishing and maintaining confidential employee files and employee confidentiality
Performing other accounting duties as directed


QUALIFICATIONS

    University Bachelors Degree or College Diploma, majoring in accounting
    3-5 years experience processing payroll and A/R, working specifically with AccPac software
    An eye for detail and an aptitude for accuracy and continuous learning
    Satisfactory criminal record check
