Massload Technologies is a manufacturer of load cells and weighing products, and the only Canadian load cell manufacturer with VCAP certification. Massload was selected the Consumer Choice Award Winner 2012-15 in the category of Scales for the greater city of Saskatoon. We are now reviewing applications from recent mechanical engineering graduates to work within our engineering environment.
Qualifications
Appropriate engineering degree in mechanical engineering
Must have knowledge of design principles including strength of materials (metals), material conditioning (heat treatment) and stress analysis
Experience in AutoCAD or equivalent
Experience in SolidWorks/Simulation will be an advantage.
Familiarity with strain gauge transducers will be an advantage
Duties
CAD drafting and design
Performing stress analysis
Writing specifications and test procedures
Providing technical support to sales team
Supporting manufacturing processes
Applicants must have relevant hands-on design experience obtained during design projects, in industry, or as a hobby, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work harmoniously in a team environment as well as work independently. Must be comfortable working at the design desk as well as with the production team.
