Adecco is currently recruiting for a Reefer Technican on behalf of our client based in Saskatoon.  This is a full time permanent job and our client is one of western Canadas most reputable refrigeration and heating unit manufacturing companies. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing transport climate control equipment.  The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical experience and ideally have experience servicing transport refrigeration vehicles, diesel trucks, or other heavy equipment.  Certification as a Transportation Refrigeration Technician or equivalent would be desirable but not neccessary.

Responsibilities for Reefer Technician job will include;
- Diagnose and repair transport climate control equipment (truck, trailer, rail container)
- Complete pre trip inspections on equipment, in accordance with customers specific requirements
- Provide estimates on repairs
- Participate in manufactures training to remain up to date on the latest equipment
- Communicate information regarding equipment availability and status to the customer at various levels
- Be on call after hours when required

Qualifications required:
- Working knowledge of transport refrigeration vehicles, diesel trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Certification as a Transportation Refrigeration Technician ; Automotive, Diesel, Heavy Duty or Truck & Transport Mechanic or HVAC Technician would be desirable
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently
- Strong language skills, oral and written
- Must be organized and able to multitask at all times
- Able to provide superior customer service
- Must have valid drivers license
