The Co-op Refinery Complex located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently recruiting 2 Piping/Mechanical Draftspersons.
The primary function of these positions is to provide drafting and design support for Plant Engineering and Maintenance Engineering projects, as well as any other drafting requirements of the Complex. These positions are primarily in the office, but also contain a field component. In addition to drafting and design, field measurements using tapes or survey equipment may be required. The duties of these positions include, but are not limited to: working with engineers to monitor construction progress and answering field questions relating to drawings. You will maintain drawing indexes, line lists, engineering drawings, and documentation in the Plant Engineering Library, as well as in the electronic document management system, for all assigned projects. These positions report to the Senior Draftsperson.
Qualifications include a related diploma or certificate from a recognized technical institute and/or several years related CAD drafting experience. Experience with Bentley Microstation/OpenPlant CAD software is an asset. Candidates must have a strong focus on safety, be team-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
