Job Summary:

The Manager of Building Services is accountable to the Director of Building Services and is responsible for the supervision of Building Services and the provision of maintenance services to three sites within the Sunrise Health Region in Yorkton. Construction project supervision experience is also required.

Experience:
    Minimum of five (5) years experience in the management of Building Services.
    Previous employment in maintenance and plant operations.

Required Qualifications:
    Building Inspection education or related experience
    Certification in Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical
    Confined Space and Fall Protection training through the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association
    Fire, Emergency Preparedness, Occupational Health & Safety training
    Saskatchewan Power Engineering Certificate - 2nd Class
    Supervisory training

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Ability to read and interpret blueprints
    An understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and values of the region
    Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Excellent management, leadership, organizational and decision making skills
    Knowledge of all building, fire, plumbing, electrical and pressure vessel codes and regulations
    Knowledge of equipment and building construction and renovations
    Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Valid drivers license
