Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
The day to day operations of the sales department in conjunction with the sales management team; increasing and growing dealership sales; leading, training and coaching sales staff; and ensuring all customers needs are met with professionalism and the highest level of quality customer service.
The successful applicant must be highly motivated, a team player, and have a proven track record of achieving outstanding sales results. A background in management would also be considered an asset.
This position is for individuals who can lead and inspire teams whilst being hands on and driving forward business improvements and development.
Strong staff management skills are crucial in this role, as is the knowledge of the sales department targets and performance indicators.
Ongoing learning about the products, keeping up to date with competitors and marketing.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills including listening ,in person and telephone skills.
The ideals candidate will have a proven track record in sales management along with a thorough and detailed understanding of the automotive industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with vehicles; ie, car rentals environment or a general interest and knowledge of cars.
Bonus points for: previous experience in an auto sales management position would be considered an asset!
Compensation & Hours: Schedule is typical of the automotive industry and salary is to commensurate with experience.
