The Programmer Analyst is responsible for the detailed definition and understanding of business requirements as well as the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of systems to meet these requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience in building, maintaining and supporting enterprise java applications. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, and able to deal with all levels of an organization. Applicants must have a strong understanding and experience in Java/JEE programming, relational databases, object oriented development techniques. Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered beneficial C#.net, Jython, Sencha GXT/Touch, Domain Driven Design, WebSphere Application Server, Agile development methodologies.
A degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in computer science with a specialization in systems analysis and application development, plus a minimum of two years experience in application development is required. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Applicants with less experience are encouraged to apply and may be considered for a Programmer position. Applicants with more experience may be considered for a Systems Analyst position.
