Tron is currently looking for a Quality Assurance & Quality Control person. The QA/QC will be responsible for leading quality control at current job sites in Saskatchewan.
Duties:
Comply with existing Quality Management Systems and ISO processes
Work closely with Senior Management, the incumbent must also develop effective quality measurement tools, identify gaps within the reports and developing action plans for correcting shortfalls
The incumbent will work with team members to develop goals and set achievable targets. Perform checks and tests to ensure the work meets project specification requirements
Maintain project Quality Control documentation and ensure the transfer of needed quality information in an effective fashion
Identify, report and track non-conformance to known standards as well as customer complaints
Qualifications:
Possession of Red Seal in Piping or Mechanical trades
Minimum 5 years of direct work experience with QA systems, regulations, guidelines, associated standards, or field related job experience in a piping or mechanical trade
Direct knowledge of ISO9001 QA methodologies, and/or provision of major projects that have been successfully completed, and on budget will be considered an asset
Managerial or team leader experience in the construction & mining sector will be considered an asset
Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on Quality Assurance processes and promoting the vision of Tron Construction & Mining
Able to compile and analyze reports, identifying and assessing gaps
Able to work within a group setting to support the existing Tron quality team
Strong computer skills, in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Adobe will be considered an asset
