Parts Manager
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Parts Manager is responsible for the management of the Parts, Inventory and Warehouse function of the Saskatoon Branch operations.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supervises and trains employees including organizing, prioritizing, scheduling work assignments, and maintaining housekeeping discipline. Ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, and adherence to quality control standards.
Oversees Branch inventory control; maintains and monitors inventory levels and freight costs.
Responsible for annual inventory count and reconciliation.
Develops and maintains effective communications and relationships with customers and manufacturers. Ensures parts and inventory function is delivering the quality and type of product and service to meet or exceed customer needs.
Ensures all department activities are conducted in full compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, company policies, processes, and applicable legislation.
Maintains quality of data in the Company ERP system for completeness and accuracy.
Qualifications
Trade certification in the Parts and/or Materials background; Journeyman Certificate considered an asset
5-7 years of related parts experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of Komatsu parts and products an asset
Proven ability to improve processes and procedures with a focus on safety performance an asset
Able to deal effectively with various customers and clients
Proven ability to provide excellent oral and written communication
