GeoIT/1624270 Alberta LTD specializes in IT, Geographic Information System and Engineering Service. We have the business footprints in Saskatchewan, Alberta and international as well. In the past 20 years, GeoIT has served the clients of Federal, provincial/state, municipal governments and private sectors including the utilities and top pipeline companies.

Our Oil & Gas clients in --Regina-- has a contract position as Pipeline Data Migration Team Leader (starting ASAP) with initial term of 2 years. This position will be in GIS Department of Engineering Service.

Initially, the contract the Team Leader will be responsible to
- Establish and document a process map along with any procedures and work instructions required to complete the assessment on an individual pipeline,
- Meet with multiple business units
- Establish the criteria for scanning and associating the data with Share Point and Geographic Information System (GIS).
- Recruit resources
- Supervise a 5 person team and track and report on the teams results on a weekly basis.

The work also includes:
- Assessment of gathering pipeline system
- Creation of process maps, procedures and work instruction for additional business process

Qualifications:
Mandatory
- Must have a Professional Engineering designation in Canada

Preferred
- Oil and Gas Engineering/Business Management experience
- Professional Engineering Experience
- Management of Teams
- Management of Data, Significant Excel and SharePoint experience/expertise
- Experience with Regulators such as Ministry of the Economy or National Energy Boar
- Experience in analysis of pressure test and yield plots
- Experience in the creation or management systems including process
