Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Residential Renovation and Construction Instructor will provide practical and theoretical instruction related to the program. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: Orientation and Safety; Job Readiness; Construction Academics; Portable and Stationary Tools; Construction Basics; and Renovation Basics.
The minimum qualifications for this position are: a Red Seal Carpentry ticket with two years of recent/relevant experience; or 5 years relevant Trade experience; a valid class 5 driver's license; and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Term: April 15, 2015 to November 27, 2015 (107 Instruction days)
Summer Break (June 29th-Sept 9, 2015)
