The Ministry of Environment is seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and dynamic individual. This individual will possess the knowledge of office administrative procedures, and the ability to provide reception and administrative/clerical support to the branch staff. Typical duties include in-person and telephone reception; formatting, editing, proofreading and processing a variety of documents; coding and processing invoices; updating contact database information; maintaining paper and electronic filing systems; and assist with Flight Watch Coordinating!
Our successful candidate will have the ability to:
Accurately, concisely and in a timely manner, word process, proofread and edit a wide variety of correspondence using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Input, update, edit and retrieve information using a database.
Apply mathematical principles to verify and process invoices.
Respond courteously to customer inquiries; verbally provide information to a wide variety of clients in a clear, accurate and understandable manner.
Liaise with other staff, agencies and the public to obtain exchange, coordinate and/or confirm information.
