Description

Riverside Badminton and Tennis Club is Saskatchewans premier badminton and tennis facility.  We have 6 dedicated badminton courts and 9 outdoor tennis hard courts. We have a newly renovated clubhouse with change rooms, canteen, proshop, licensed lounge and kitchen facilities.  As a not-for-profit organization, we are a member-based club run by a team of paid staff and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our mandate is to encourage healthy lifestyles in our community through the family friendly sports of badminton and tennis. If you love sports and would like to become part of our team, please consider this opportunity.

We are seeking a Sports and Activities Facilitator/Coach.  The candidate should be prepared to work flexible hours.  The position is a permanent position.  It will start at 20 hours per week, working to full time.

Job Description
Plan and implement badminton and tennis programs such as lessons, leagues and club tournaments
Coach beginner and intermediate lessons in both badminton and tennis
Develop new activities to further increase community participation in badminton and tennis
Work with staff and management team

Compensation
Compensation will be commission on revenues generated from badminton and tennis programs

Job Requirements
Level One Coaching accreditation in badminton and tennis
A proven ability to develop and implement programs for children, adults and seniors.  
A combination of a background in athletics and/or education plus experience will be considered
Respect in Sports accreditation
Criminal background check
We are looking for someone who is energetic, has a positive attitude and a high level of fitness.  
The person must enjoy encouraging people to have fun at physical activities and help build their skill levels
Enthusiasm for building marketing skills will be an asset
Certificates for Food Safe, CPR and Serve-It-Right are an asset
