JOB DESCRIPTION:
Helper will assist qualified driver
Help to ensure safe and efficient delivery of customers product while operating in accordance to the Collective Agreement, Canada Cartage and Customers policies
Help properly secure and protect loads from damage
Handing in completed and proper paperwork for Canada Cartage and Daily Trip Sheets, etc
Lifting and carrying various freight of various weight
Help with trucks interior maintenance at the end of each trip as necessary
Must provide own transportation to an from work
PAY STRUCTURE:
Swamper rate as per Collective Agreement, $13.15/hour
HOURS OF SERVICE REQUIREMENTS:
Dayshift
Monday-Friday
07:00 AM - 03:00PM
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsible for meeting schedule guidelines as per customer request
Must be physically capable of performing required duties
Physically capable of loading and offloading customers product including but not limited to appliances, hand bombing, utilizing hand jack, 2 wheeler
Residential deliveries may apply
Company will train suitable candidate if required
