The Sylvia Fedoruk Canadian Centre for Nuclear Innovation (Fedoruk Centre) is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who will be responsible for a) ensuring that quality standards and current procedures meet or exceed Canadian regulations for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as the standards set by clients; and b) ensuring compliance of production and products with GMP regulations; and c) assisting the Director as required.
Reporting to the Director of the Saskatchewan Centre for Cyclotron Sciences, the Quality Assurance Manager will be part of a small team responsible for supporting research activities and producing isotopes for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) facilities for research, clinical and commercial applications. Flexibility among individual roles is expected to ensure that the supply of products meets quality standards within required deadlines. Safety of staff, clients and the public are of highest priority in this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and the general public and delivering a high quality product on time are essential to mitigating reputational risks for the Centre.
The primary work environment is the suite of offices in the Saskatchewan Centre for Cyclotron Sciences. Occasional travel within the university, province or elsewhere may be required. Flexibility to work occasional early morning and weekend shifts may be required. The Quality Assurance Manager will work with minimal supervision.
The salary range is $75,000 to $95,000 per annum plus a competitive benefits package including health and pension. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Flexibility to work occasional early morning and weekend shifts may be required.
