Summer Student Job Summer Student Job

Description

This 9-week full time summer student position provides administrative and project support to the Marketing and Programming Divisions. The Summer Students' duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Administrative Tasks
    Preparation of a Marketing info  flyer/poster for each SRVC course using a pre-designed template
    Website updates
    Receive, track and code invoices
    Select and order promotional items, inventory these items, tracking and fulfilling request
    Social Media posts and strategy (with supervision)
    Other duties as assigned

Project Work    
    Coordinate student welcome packages including, but not limited to the re-printing of student handbooks, ordering of promo items and day planners, and distribution to each campus
    Preparation of course information for Fall Tradewinds including, but not limited to contacting each campus manager, organizing information in a word document, coordinating with graphic designer, coordinating with printer, proofreading, meeting deadlines, etc.
    Coordinate supports necessary to implement and monitor social media plan
    Refresh student handbook
    Assist with the brand refresh project. (ex; helping order new stationary, creating signs, spotting materials which need refreshed)
    Assist with 40th anniversary project (ex: scanning or taking photos of items, writing, assisting with internal and external promotion)

Students must be legally entitled to work in Canada, enrolled at the time of employment at a secondary or post-secondary school or institution, and returning to full-time studies after their period of employment.
