Description

This position is a One Year Term - full Time - May lead to a Permanent position.

Moose Jaw Co-op Association Ltd. invites applications for the position of Human Resources Officer to join our Management team.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for the assistance in all areas of human resources. The successful candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Human Resources. Previous Human Resources and/or accounting experience is an asset.  This position requires above average communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Duties:
?    Recruitment
?    Payroll
?    Training and Development (organizing and scheduling for training of employees)
?    Benefits administration
?    Employee relations
?    Organize and attend Kids Club events
?    Contract Interpretation
?    Occupational Health and Safety Chairperson
?    Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate effective leadership skills and the ability to work well within a multi-generational team. Applicants must be self reliant, goal oriented with the ability to set and adjust priorities and schedule. Candidate will have a diploma or degree in Human Resources.  Other qualifications would include:

* Strong recruitment ideas and abilities

* Display initiative
* Excellent organizational skills and abilities
