Applications are invited for a one-year term Assistant Professor faculty position in Small Animal Internal Medicine beginning July 1, 2015, to serve for a leave replacement. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include: High quality instruction in Small Animal Internal Medicine to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary students; participation in the clinical teaching and service programs of Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology within the Veterinary Medical Centre; and contributions to continuing education. There will be opportunities for scholarship and clinical research in Internal Medicine in collaboration with other faculty.
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a D.V.M. degree or its equivalent and must be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan. Candidates must be board certified or eligible for board certification with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Demonstrated teaching excellence is preferred. A special interest in medical oncology is desirable.
Salary & Benefits: The current salary range for an Assistant Professor is $88,798.00 to $112,678.00.
