Quality Assurance Coordinator

Supreme Steel LP Saskatoon Division requires an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidates educational requirements may vary and include Post-secondary education related to quality management and may include W178.2 Level 1. One to three years experience in QA/QC is a requirement. Candidates should be competent in Microsoft Work, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project, as well as QA/QC systems. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, while working independently and with others. They must also have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Reporting & monitoring shop progress for weekly progress meetings.
Issuing production packages to the shop for fabrication
Printing drawings and preparing cut list.
Scheduling and production.
Managing quality systems including the Quality System database, processes, and procedures
Enforcing compliance with internal procedures
Conducting sub-contractor and vendor audits
Assisting in the efforts to maintain ISO registration
Reviewing and approving processes and quality control documentation
A competitive hourly wage will be based upon the successful candidates training and experience.
