Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Canada, Ltd. (MHPSC) is a major supplier of custom welding, machining, assembly, and field services to the energy industry in Canada and around the world. We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Transport Inspector to join our highly skilled team at our manufacturing plant in Saskatoon.

Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment
- Establish specialized equipment to meet inspection needs
- Communicate with regulatory organizations
- Successfully develop and implement inspection technology
- Sales coordination for Transport Canada inspection/retest, NDT
- Conduct timely and accurate quotations for inspection work
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers

Requirements:
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Experience in testing and recertification as per CSA B620
- Tank Inspector qualification as per CSA B620, or hours toward qualification
- MT/PT experience is an asset
- Demonstrated experience related to successful coordination or management of inspection activities including job assignment and customer contact
- Demonstrated experience in successfully dealing directly with customers for inspection service scheduling, execution, problem solving, reporting, and billing
- Demonstrated experience in successful communication with regulatory organizations related to Transports
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- A team player with ability to communicate effectively with others
